The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2.700 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 10.01 liras between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. local time (1000 and 1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 25.5% to around 737.5 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,375.37 liras and 1,373.61 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,699.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 668.97 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.49 liras at 2.28 p.m. local time (1128 GMT) on Saturday.
