The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,952.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 liras between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0700-1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul data for Sunday’s electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 41.5% to around 189.39 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 354.44 liras and 427.41 liras, respectively.
