The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,625 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,400 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 9.1% to around 1.02 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,994.15 liras and 1,995.76 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,700 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1600 GMT and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,499.98 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
