May 19, 2023 9:57 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,600 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1700 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,249.98 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed an increase of 2.65% to 869.5 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,964.02 liras and 1,972.49 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set as 2,600 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,424.34 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.8 liras at 2.11 p.m. local time (1111 GMT) on Friday.
