The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1450 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 1.7% to around 935.3 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,945.43 liras and 1,951.81 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,099.98 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,250.01 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 23.45 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Friday.
