The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,000 Turkish between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1400 – 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,799 liras between 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed an increase of 4.9% to 1.59 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,498.65 liras and 2,523.16 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time (0500, 0600 GMT),while the lowest was set at 1,424.10 at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. (0900 and 1000 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
