The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate is set at 1.799,97 liras between 3 a.m and 4 a.m. local time (0000 and 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday’s electricity market shows an increase of 0.7% to around 1.43 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,326.98 liras and 2,350.75 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (1300 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,000.01 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT).
US$1 equals 35.22 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Friday.
