September 28, 2025 1:46 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., and between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. (2100 GMT on Saturday, and 1200-1900 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1901 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows an increase of 66.9% to around 2.03 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,072.72 liras and 3,099.39 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1500-1800 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.58 liras at 2.14 p.m. local time (1114 GMT) on Sunday.
