Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Sept. 26

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,800 Turkish liras between 05.00 and 08.00 p.m. (1400 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate is set as 2,535 liras at 11.00 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 32.3% to 1.83 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,854.03 liras and 3,899.98 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 4,800 Turkish liras at 07.00 and 08.00 p.m. (1600 and 1700 GMT) while the lowest rate is set as 2,000.01 liras at 09.00 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.42 liras at 02.40 p.m. local time (1140 GMT) on Sunday.
