The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,450 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 980 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 42.1% to around 1.04 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,852.78 liras and 1,896.28 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,484.66 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 250.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 26.85 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
