September 3, 2023 9:22 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,596.28 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 86.1% around 1.162 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,054.09 liras and 2,089.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,517.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 980 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 26.70 liras at 2.27 p.m. local time (1127 GMT) on Sunday.
