The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1300 and 1500GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1799.38 liras at 4 a.m. local time (100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 36.9% to around 1.59 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,584.18 liras and 2,619.79 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT), while the lowest rate at 319.31 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).
