May 7, 2023 1:03 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,600 Turkish between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500 – 0800 GMT and 1200 – 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,497.99 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 90% to 1.15 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,334.39 liras and 2,393.52 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set 2,600 Turkish between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600 – 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 500 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.5 liras at 2.27 p.m. local time (1127 GMT) on Sunday.
