The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,950 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,299.99 at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 74.6% to around 1.52 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 2,444.94 liras and 2,456.20 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Sunday was set as 2,850 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT) and the lowest was set as 0 (zero) at between 9 a.m and 3 p.m. local time (0600-1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 36.48 liras at 2.38 p.m. local time (1138 GMT) on Sunday.
