June 23, 2024 8:41 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 12-2 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1-11 p.m. local time (2100-2300, 0800, 1000-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,399 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 53.4% to around 1.78 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,558.45 liras and 2,571.95 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1700-2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 738,42 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.83 liras at 2.27 p.m. local time (1127 GMT) on Sunday.
