June 21, 2026 4:40 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,974.39 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate is set at 169.99 liras between 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday’s electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 186% to around 632.98 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 908.95 liras and 994.59 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 1,391.49 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0400 and 1300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 46.45 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Sunday.
