Spot market electricity prices for Monday, June 17

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,648 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. local time (2100GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 150.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 61% to around 741.41 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,358.17 liras and 1,335.97 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,501.99 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 14.04 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.74 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
