July 20, 2025 1:37 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. and at 12 a.m. local time (1300-2000 and 2100 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,900 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 31.5 to around 2.14 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,118.5 liras and 3,136.72 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0300-1600 and 2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,343.10 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.39 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Sunday.
