Spot market electricity prices for Monday, July 17

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2.399,99 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,249.01 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 57.2% to 1.10 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,967.43 liras and 1,996.09 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,499.99 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. (1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 569.99 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 26.17 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
