The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m (0600-0800 and 1200-1500 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,500 liras at 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. (2100 and 2200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 22.2% to 1.91 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,572.71 liras and 3,651.46 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1400-1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,624 liras at 1 p.m. (1000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.75 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
