The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. (0500-1900 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,801.01 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 28.84% to 2.07 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,857.55 liras and 3,935.94 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. (1500 GMT) while the lowest rate was determined at 2,900 liras at 11 p.m. (2000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.8 liras at 2.48 p.m. local time (1148 GMT) on Sunday.
