The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,598.99 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 780 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 28% to around 1.266 billion Turkish liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,831.31 liras and 1919.67 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,549 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 612.36 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).
