The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,687.11 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 175.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 59.4% to around 1.12 billion Turkish liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,643.27 liras and 1,757.89 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,200 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 498 liras at 23 p.m. local time (2000 GMT).
US$1 equals 30.20 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Sunday.
