January 15, 2023 1:01 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,200 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. and at 0400 and 0500 p.m. (0500-0800 and 1000 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,800 liras at 1 a.m. (1000 GMT previous day), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 22.9% to 2.2 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,650.29 liras and 3,710.17 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1400 – 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,750 liras at 11 p.m. (2000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.80 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
