January 12, 2025 1:26 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,000 Turkish lira at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,424.99 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 20.14% to 1.67 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,386 liras and 2,453.68 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,994 Turkish at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,405.51 liras at 10 p.m. local time (1900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.40 liras at 2.24 p.m. local time (1124 GMT) on Sunday.
