December 24, 2023 3:20 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,699.29 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 979.99 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT on Sunday), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 36.4% to around 1.25 billion Turkish liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,965.59 liras and 2,038.15 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,650 liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 980 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT on Saturday).
US$1 equals 29.09 liras at 2.41 p.m. local time (1141 GMT) on Sunday.
