December 18, 2022 1:58 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,800 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. (0500, 0600, 1300 and 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 550 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 1.3% to 1.54 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,969.65 liras and 3,160.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 4,800 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1300 – 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,274.99 liras at 12 a.m. (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.65 liras at 2.38 p.m. local time (1138 GMT) on Sunday.
