December 15, 2024 1:33 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0600-0800 and 1000-1500 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,425 liras at 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (0000 and 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 37.7% to around 1.64 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,615.29 liras and 2.684.08 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,950 Turkish liras at 7.p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (1600 and 2100 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,050 liras at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.local time (0700 and 0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.94 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Sunday.
