August 28, 2022 8:06 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,000 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. (0500 and 0800 GMT) and between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. local times (1000 and 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate is determined as 2,250 liras at 06.00 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 30.2% to 1.58 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,309.56 liras and 3,380.74 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 3,899.99 Turkish liras between midnight and 8 p.m. local time (2100 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 2,000.01 liras at 08.00 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.16 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
