The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,000 Turkish liras between at 09.00-11.00 a.m. and 02.00 to 10.00 p.m. local time (0600 to 0800 and 1100 to 1900GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate is determined as 2,314.63 liras at 05.00 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 35.11% to 1.74 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,809.80 liras and 2,824.46 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set as 4,000 Turkish liras at 07.00, 08.00, 09.00 and 10.00 p.m. local time (1600, 1700, 1800 and 1900 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 2,199.99 liras at 08.00 and 12.00 a.m. local time (0500, 0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 17.94 liras at 02.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
