April 21, 2024 7:53 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2.700 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1200 and 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1.000 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 71.2% to around 1.26 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,098.14 liras and 2,142.59 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2.700 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 10.01 liras between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. local time (1000 and 1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.49 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
