August 31, 2023 1:41 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. (0600-0800 GMT) and 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1100-1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,649.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday’s electricity market shows an decrease of 1% around 1.38 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,360.30 liras and 2,392.37 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1100-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,830 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 26.68 liras at 2.46 p.m. local time (1146 GMT) on Thursday.
