The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,680 Turkish liras at 8 a.m local time (0500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 990 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 14.3% to around 1.32 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,052.39 liras and 2,047.48 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 8 a.m, 6 p.m.,7 p.m., and 8 p.m local time (0500,1500, 1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,000 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 31.23 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Thursday.
