Spot market electricity prices for Friday, July 14

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,349.98 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,592.98 liras at 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. (0300 and 0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday’s electricity market showed an increase of 3.6% to 1.14 billion liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,026.12 liras and 2,038.32 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,323.24 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,592.97 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 26.16 liras at 2.50 p.m. local time (1150 GMT) on Thursday.
