The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time (0500, 0600 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,799.98 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 7.8% to around 1.54 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,454.39 liras and 2,482.31 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500 – 0700, 1300, 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,799.98 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
