Serbian forward Bjelica returns to Istanbul’s Fenerbahce Beko after 7 years

ISTANBUL

Fenerbahce confirmed Tuesday the return of Serbian forward Nemanja Bjelica on a two-year contract.

On Twitter, the Istanbul basketball side posted a video compilation of highlights of his previous 2013-2015 stint with the team.

Bjelica also played for NBA teams such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Miami Heat, and Golden State Warriors.

The 34-year-old forward helped the Golden State Warriors win the 2021-22 NBA title.

Bjelica won the 2014-15 EuroLeague MVP and over the course of his career has played 102 EuroLeague matches and 449 NBA games.

With the Serbian national team, he clinched silver medals at EuroBasket 2009 and the Basketball World Cup in 2014.
