Russia adds multiple British officials, figures on ‘stop list’

ISTANBUL

Russia on Monday announced that it included a number of UK officials on its “stop list.”

According to the Foreign Ministry, an unspecified number of officials, journalists and experts were added to the list in response to “hostile actions of the British side.”

“Among them are local politicians responsible for formulating and implementing London’s anti-Russian course, journalists caught in lies and Russophobia, as well as experts covering important socio-political events in our country in a negative and untrue way,” it said.

The UK’s efforts to “discredit and internationally isolate” Moscow will receive a “decisive and tough rebuff,” the ministry added.
