Rodriguez wins stage 14 of Tour de France

ANKARA

Carlos Rodriguez on Saturday won stage 14 of the Tour de France with 3 hours, 58 minutes, 45 seconds and 12 seconds bonus time.

The Spaniard finished the stage between Annemasse and Morzine Les Portes du Soleil ahead of Danish cycler Jonas Vingegaard and Slovenian Tadej Pogacar.

At age 22, Rodriguez became the youngest-ever Spanish stage winner at the Tour de France.

Jumbo-Visma’s Vingegaard leads the general ranking with 57 hours, 47 minutes, 28 seconds and 23 seconds bonus time, while UAE Team Emirates’ Pogacar is just behind him by 10 seconds and Ineos Grenadiers’ Rodriguez is trailing with a difference of 4 minutes and 43 seconds.

Stage 15 of the tour will be held on Sunday between Les Gets Les Portes du Soleil and Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc.
