Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who secured the 2023 Formula 1 title after a sprint race held in Qatar last month, won the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday.

The Dutchman won the 50-lap race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit with the time of 1 hour, 29 minutes and 08.289 seconds to beat Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the Round 22.

Verstappen secured a record-extending 18th win of the 2023 campaign.

He has now won three Grands Prix in the US this season; Miami in May, Austin in October, and Las Vegas on Saturday.

Leclerc from Monaco was 2.070 seconds behind Verstappen to come second in Las Vegas.

Mexican driver Sergio Perez, Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate, ended the race third.

The 23-round Formula 1 season will end with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Nov. 26.
