Red Bull’s Max Verstappen wins F1 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix

ISTANBUL

Max Verstappen of Red Bull converted his pole position into victory at the F1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 26-year-old Dutchman claimed the 63-lap race at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Autodrome in Imola, Italy with a time of one hour, 25 minutes and 25.252 seconds in the seventh round.

The victory was Verstappen’s fifth in seven races this season and the 59th of his career. McLaren’s Lando Norris came in second while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished in third in the race.

Round 8 will take place in the Monaco Grand Prix on May 26.
