Real Madrid, Al Hilal to vie for FIFA Club World Cup

Real Madrid will face Al Hilal in the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup final after the Spanish club beat Egypt’s Al Ahly 4-1 in Wednesday’s semifinal in Rabat.

Vinicius Junior scored the opener for Real Madrid in the 42nd minute at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

Federico Valverde scored as the Spanish team doubled the gap in the early minutes of the second half.

Al Ahly’s Ali Maaloul converted a penalty kick to narrow the gap to one in the 65th minute.

Real Madrid cemented a 4-1 win after injury-time goals scored by Rodrygo and Sergio Arribas.

Saudi team Al Hilal reached the FIFA Club World Cup final Tuesday by beating Brazilian club Flamengo 3-2.

The final between Real Madrid and Al Hilal will be held Saturday at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

Real Madrid won the Club World Cup title in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

On the same day, Al Ahly will play against Flamengo in the third-place match to be held before the final.
