Putin ends double taxation agreements with ‘unfriendly countries’

MOSCOW

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday signed a decree suspending agreements covering double taxation on income and assets with “unfriendly” countries.

The measure had been proposed by the finance and foreign ministries in March.

Western countries have imposed economic sanctions on Russia in response to its “special military operation” in Ukraine.
