Visitors Sparta Rotterdam drew the first blood in Eindhoven as Metinho scored in the eighth minute.

But PSV leveled after Said Bakari scored an own goal. Johan Bakayoko, a PSV winger, was on the scoresheet as the Belgian player gave the home team a 2-1 lead in the 26th minute.

A few minutes later, PSV’s Olivier Boscagli put the ball into his own net to end the first half 2-2.

In the second half, Boscagli and Jordan Teze scored for PSV as the home team won the match 4-2, and the Dutch title.

Following the home win, PSV have 87 points in 32 matches.

Last season’s Dutch champions Feyenoord are currently in the second position with 75 points.
