Pro-war campaigners attack Trump for advocating peace, claims Hungarian premier

BELGRADE, Serbia

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban claimed on Friday that pro-war campaigners are targeting former US President Donald Trump because of his stance on world peace.

”The pro-war game, particularly the American leg of the Soros-Empire, is attacking Donald Trump with full force and doing everything possible to prevent his election as president,” Orban alleged in his weekly radio interview with state radio Kossuth Radio.

According to him, the world needs Trump’s reelected as US president in order to achieve peace and end wars.

”If there is a person in the Western World today who can stop this war and create peace, it is former US President Donald Trump, and it would be in Hungary’s interest to have a pro-peace at the helm of the US and a pro-peace politician to lead that part of the world,” said Orban.

Earlier this week, during a visit to Tirana, the Albanian capital, the Hungarian prime minister slammed the European Union’s Western Balkans enlargement policy.

He claims that Europe is in a bad situation and will pay a high price if the Balkan countries do not join the bloc.

”The pace of the EU enlargement is shameful and unacceptable. If we want a peaceful and prosperous Europe, we must accelerate the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU,” Orban said.

Hungary has repeatedly called on Brussels to evaluate the impact of the bloc’s enlargement policy and sanctions on individual member states amid the ongoing energy crisis.
