The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0500–0600 GMT and 1200–1900 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,250 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday’s electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 33.2% to around 1.86 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,068.42 liras and 3,106.65 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1300-1800 GMT), while the lowest was 356 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT, the data showed.

US$1 equals 41.90 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
