Novak Djokovic beats Jannik Sinner to advance to his 9th Wimbledon final

ISTANBUL

Novak Djokovic beat Jannik Sinner on Friday in straight sets to qualify for his ninth Wimbledon final.

The second-seeded Serbian superstar won the semifinal with sets of 6-3, 6-4, and 7-6 at London’s Centre Court.

Djokovic, 36, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and Russian Daniil Medvedev.

The men’s singles final will be played on Sunday.
