Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic became the third player in NBA history to record a triple-double against every opponent he has faced in the NBA after his team’s 130-110 victory on Thursday against the Washington Wizards.
“After I finish my career, it’s a legacy and milestone,” Jokic said after the game. “I’m going to look back and I’m going to say that’s a really cool thing to do.”
The 29-year-old Serbian center led the Nuggets to victory with 21 points, 15 assists, and 19 rebounds at Ball Arena to join LeBron James and Russell Westbrook in the exclusive club with his 650 career matches.
Michael Porter Jr. and Christian Braun, meanwhile, made double-doubles for the Nuggets. Porter Jr. scored 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Braun produced 12 points and 10 rebounds.
For the losing side, Kyle Kuzma netted 31 points and 12 rebounds, while Tyus Jones played with 13 points and 14 assists.
The Denver Nuggets are placed fourth with 37 wins and 19 defeats in the Western Conference and the Washington Wizards are 14th with nine wins and 46 losses in the Eastern table.
