New ambassadors present their credentials to Turkish President Erdogan

WASHINGTON

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received letters of credentials Tuesday from newly appointed ambassadors.

At the presidential complex in the capital Ankara, Erdogan separately welcomed Hendrik Van De Velde of Belgium, Clare Brosnan of Ireland, and Petr Stepanek of the Czech Republic.

Ambassador Thomas Hans Ossowski, the newly appointed head of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, also presented his credentials to Erdogan.

After the new envoys’ credentials were presented, souvenir photos were taken.
