NBA suspends Warriors’ Draymond Green indefinitely for striking Jusuf Nurkic

ISTANBUL

The NBA on Thursday said Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was suspended indefinitely for striking Jusuf Nurkic in the face during Tuesday’s 119-116 loss to the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center.

“Green’s suspension takes into account his ‘repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts’ and he’ll be required to meet certain league and team conditions before returning,” the NBA said in a statement.

Green was ejected with 8:23 left in the third quarter after he hit Nurkic in the head.

The NBA said Green’s suspension will begin immediately, and he would be required to meet certain league and team conditions before he returns to play.

The 33-year-old has been ejected 18 times in his career, the most among active NBA players.
