NBA on Sunday fined Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards $100,000 for “profane language” during a TV interview.

Joe Dumars, the executive vice president and head of Basketball Operations for the NBA, confirmed that the 23-year-old All-Star guard was fined for “using profane language” during an on-court TV interview after the Timberwolves won against the Houston Rockets 113-112 on Dec. 27.

Edwards scored 24 points against the Rockets at the Toyota Center.

This season he was previously fined for public criticism of officiating and using profane language, as well as making an obscene gesture on the basketball court.

Edwards, an Olympic gold medalist with the Team USA at Paris 2024, has been fined over $200,000 in the last two months.

The Timberwolves regular since 2020 averaged 24.9 points in 31 NBA games this season.
